Hear The Handsome Family's New Single 'Gold' + Pre-Order The Album

Unseen, the much anticipated tenth studio album from The Handsome Family is on the way, with a release date set for 16 September. And here it is, the first single - Gold.Rennie explained to the Wall Street Journal how the inspiration for Gold came from a visit to their local convenience store in Albuquerque, New Mexico :-"Brett went down for a six pack and came back with like $120 in $20 bills. He said there were $20 bills just swirling around in the air. He felt like it was his lucky day, but I, being a glass-half-empty kind of girl, immediately started worrying that someone was lying dead in a ditch. No one lets go of a fist full of money without a fight in this town."Unseen will be available on luxurious 180g pond green vinyl, CD and as a download. There will also be limited edition LPs and CDs available from independent record shops in Europe, as well as right HERE, via the Loose Shop. Both limited edition formats will include an exclusive "Best Of" bonus CD, with the limited LP also including an exclusive signed print.
