Sons Of Bill's Album is This Week's Record Of Note on BBC Radio Scotland

Wednesday, 25th July 2018

Sons Of Bill were all over BBC Radio Scotland last night, with Ricky Ross giving Firebird '85 a spin, then Roddy Hart featuring the band's recently released new record Oh God Ma'am as this week's Record of Note. Aside from playing album tracks Sweeter, Sadder, Farther AwayBefore The Fall and Signal Fade, Roddy enthusiastically described the record as "A great piece of Americana. REM’s Murmur is a touch stone, The War On Drugs, mid-80’s Bruce Springsteen… anyone who’s a fan of those artists will surely find a place for Oh God Ma’am in their record collection,"  going on to say that there's,  "more than a hint of the darkness that perhaps informed the record, but it's their best piece of work so far." We'd certainly agree.Listen back to The Roddy Hart Show here and Another Country With Ricky Ross here.
