UK Americana Music Awards Nominations Announced

The nominations are in for UK Americana Music Awards 2019 and Loose are well represented this year by Courtney Marie Andrews, Treetop Flyers and Israel Nash.Courtney Marie Andrews received nominations last year for International Artist and International Album Of The Year for 2017's Honest Life, taking home the Artist of The Year Award back in January. Then in September, Courtney took to the stage and blew us all away at The Ryman in Nashville, having been nominated for the Emerging Artist Award at the AMA Awards. And so the trend continues, with last night's announcement that May Your Kindness Remain is now a contender for Album Of The Year, up against the likes of Brandi Carlile, John Prine and First Aid Kit.Treetop Flyers aren't first timers either, with their previous album Palomino having been nominated for UK Album of The Year in 2016. They're in for another shot in January with their self-titled third album, alongside Bennett Wilson Poole, Ben Glover and Orphan Colours.Israel Nash has received his first nomination and deservedly so, with his new album Lifted being his best yet. Rolling On is a worthy nominee for International Song of The Year, going up against songs by Brandi Carlile, Ruston Kelly and Darlingside.Here are those Loose nominations:-Courtney Marie Andrews, May Your Kindness Remain - International Album of The YearTreetop Flyers, Treetop Flyers - UK Album of The YearIsrael Nash, Rolling On - International Song of The YearAMA UK members can now vote here.
