We're Taking Over The Honky Tonk Stage At The Long Road Festival

Friday, 20th July 2018

Did we mention that Loose is 20 years old this year? The Long Road Festival are gonna be helping us celebrate on Saturday 8th September, when we'll be taking over the Honky Tonk stage with a whole load of friends. Frontier Ruckus, Treetop Flyers, William The Conqueror, Joana Serrat & The Great Canyoners and Danny & The Champions Of The World will all be representing the Loose rosta, with Loose alumni The Arlenes also putting in an all too rare appearance. We've also invited along our friends Erin RaeCaroline Spence and Yola Carter. It's quite a line-up. Have a listen to them all here.Stay tuned for news on further celebrations across the other side of the pond...

“there’s always been a sense of a tasteful restraint to the studio albums but unleashed on stage with their raspy vocals and heartland rock and soul, they’re like a power station on steroids.”

FOLK RADIO

“This is a proper old school live album, makes you want to go to a gig”

ROBERT ELMS, BBC LONDON

“songs like This Is Not a Love Song and and Stay True which come at you one after the other; are destined to make ‘new fans’ wonder why these kids aren’t topping the bill at Glastonbury with their magic formula and bittersweet songs.”
