11 Jun “The Greatest Show On Earth” – The Felice Brothers Hit London
“The Felice Brothers Deliver The Greatest Show On Earth” said top UK music blog Mad Mackerel of The Felice Brothers’ much anticipated return to London’s Shepherds Bush Empire at the end of last month.
Well, we can’t argue with that and its seems that neither would Shout4Music : “During their nineteen song set, you get a feel for just how talented and underrated this band are, and with the inclusion of one of their masterpieces in record making, ‘Frankie’s Gun’, and the insistent Woody Guthrie cover ‘Cumberland Gap’, they have reached the peak of their artistic powers in fine form. For those lucky enough to have followed the band from their early days right through, this is proof tonight that the Felice Brothers have grown into one fine and supremely peerless band.”
As for Thank Folk For That, here’s a little of what they said: “The Felice Brothers ooze authenticity, natural talent and a gritty, no-bullshit approach to the life of a rock’n’roll band”

By way of a bit of bonus footage, shortly before the band took to the stage, O2 Academy TV camera people snuck into the dressing room to interview Felices Ian and Christmas: “1, 2, 3, interview !“.
